Well done to all the students from Magh Ene College who took part in the cross-country competition in Donegal town last Friday.  Special congratulations to first year student Maitiu Tierney who came 2st in the 1^st year boys’ race, Alannah Witherow who came 2^nd in the 1^st year girls’ race and to Rachel Keaney who came 3^rd in this event.  Second year student Niamh Carolan won 2st place very comfortablty in the 2^nd year girls’ race.  A large number of other students came in the top ten in their respective events and also winning medals to create what was a very successful day all round.  Special thanks also to our athletics coach Ms. Morrow who organised and accompanied the students to this event.
