Maths Week 2016

Maths week 2016: Magh Ene College celebrated Maths week from the 17-21st October, 2016. A number of events were run throughout the week; guest speakers (Stephen Keegan, statistician with Abbott Ireland, gave a presentation today to 6th year and TY maths students), poster competitions, Maths Eyes competition, and daily maths quizzes at Tutor class. The questions for these quizzes were posted online each day via the school app so that family members at home could join in the fun of figuring out the answers (all posted below).  Thanks to all who were involved in running these events, in particular Ms. Meehan and Ms. Higgins.
